पवनार येथे दत्त मंदिर व स्थानिक व्यापारी यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या पारंपरिक तान्हा पोळा सोहळ्यात जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षक मा. अनुरागजी जैन यांच्या मानाचा भव्य सत्कार करण्यात आला.
गेल्या काही वर्षांत समाजबंधन जपणारे, लोकाभिमुख धोरण राबवणारे आणि नागरिकांशी थेट संवाद साधणारे अधिकारी म्हणून अनुराग जैन यांची ओळख निर्माण झाली आहे. कायदा-सुव्यवस्था अबाधित राखण्याबरोबरच सामाजिक-सांस्कृतिक उपक्रमांमध्ये सक्रिय सहभाग घेतल्यामुळे त्यांचा सर्वत्र गौरव होत आहे.
या कार्यक्रमात माजी अभियंता किशोरभाऊ हिवरे माजी सरपंच अजय गांडोळे, माजी सैनिक सुभाषजी उमाटे, प्रेमभाऊ हिवरे, आयोजक रुकेश बावणे, विशाल ठोंबरे, रीतेश पाहुणे, अनिल आंबटकर, बालु आंबटकर यांच्यासह मंडळाचे अनेक कार्यकर्ते उपस्थित होते.
कार्यक्रमात उपस्थित बालकांना पेपर पॅड, बिस्कीट पुडे व ड्रॉइंग बुकचे वाटप करण्यात आले. यावेळी उपस्थित मान्यवरांनी पोलीस अधीक्षक जैन यांचा सत्कार करून त्यांचे समाजकार्य, प्रामाणिकपणा व लोकाभिमुख कार्यशैलीचे कौतुक केले.
तान्हा पोळ्याच्या पारंपरिक सोहळ्यात गावकऱ्यांनी मोठ्या उत्साहाने सहभाग घेतला. सजवलेल्या वासरांचे आकर्षण, गाजर-बाजार व सांस्कृतिक वातावरणामुळे परिसर भारावून गेला.
यावेळी नागरिकांनी एकमुखाने जैन यांच्या कार्याचे स्वागत करून “जिल्ह्याचे खरे जनतेचे पोलीस अधिकारी” अशी गौरवोद्गार काढले.

Pavnar:
A grand celebration of the traditional <Tanhā Pola was organized at Pavnar, where the chief guests were Wardha District Superintendent of Police Shri Anurag Jain along with former engineer of the Public Works Department Shri Kishor Bhau Hivare.
This festival has been organized for many years near Hivare Mangal Karyalaya through the joint efforts of local traders and the Datta Mandir. As every year, this year too the event was celebrated with great enthusiasm.
The program was graced by the presence of District Superintendent of Police Shri Anurag Jain, former Sarpanch Ajay Gandoḷe, ex-serviceman Subhashji Umate, ex-serviceman Kishor Bhau Hivare, Prem Bhau Hivare, organizers Rukesh Bavne, Vishal Thombre, Ritesh Pahune, Anil Ambatkar, Balu Ambatkar, and many other committee members and workers.
On this occasion, children participating in the Pola were distributed paper pads, biscuit packets, and drawing books, bringing joy and smiles to their faces.
